Russell Bears Studio - Preparing for the WA Craft Show

 

 

A brand new display stand, some brand new bears and critters, patterns and kits all on offer at the WA Craft Show -   http://www.trueblue-exhibitions.com.au/ 

 

Here is a Sneak Peek of what I have so far



 

The fluffy baby pink alpaca pile will be a "Miss Snuffles", the two tones of green mohair pile will be a "Murphy" and the small green and rust mohair pile will be a mini clown bear using my "Dazz" pattern.

 

 

The tiny little bear in blue and white mini bear fabric is "Pom", waiting patiently to be finished. He will be offered to my Special Sneak Peek Members first. Stay tuned to see him when he is ready for adoption.

 

 

 

Another oldie from 2006 I am thinking about letting go to a new home, his name is "Binky" and he won First Place in his section at the 2006 Woodend Teddy Bear Show.

Another Oldie - Moe - Sorry I am Sold!

Hi to everyone, I have decided to raid my cupboard again and offer another one of my older Award Winning pieces from 2006 now.

His name is “Moe” ( the original one ) and he was awarded Best in Section and Highly Commended at the 2006 Melbourne Teddy Show. He is created from hand dyed mohair and one of my original needle felted pieces.

He will come with his original tags and his rosette, being green I thought it best to put him out there just before St Patrick’s Day.  In my opinion he is so ugly, he is cute, you will either love him or hate him, he is one of my quirky designs that I don’t even know if you can describe him as a bear!

Again I will not be disappointed if he does not sell as I am happy to keep him, I just thought I would put him out there and see what happens :o)

Russell Bears Update

Just a quick note to let you know that I will be taking a break for a little while to spend “quality” time with my Hubby who is still receiving daily treatment for his condition.

He is in good spirits and feeling well, a long road ahead but a good prognosis is predicted in the long run.

I thought I would let you know that only 3 pieces will be available from Silly Bears on the 24th February, I will post photos when I get the ok from the shop.

While by my Hubby’s bedside in hospital I have been doing a bit of stitching, so there is one little bear on the go that may be finished in the next week or so.

He is the brother to “Dom”, if you are interested, his name is “Pom”, and I will send out an email when he is ready to be Adopted.
